上海6小时:保时捷1号车0.06秒优势力压丰田夺杆位
凭借布兰登•哈特利和马克•韦伯的齐心协力,保时捷1号车在上海6小时排位赛经历了赛道界限的威胁后,以百分之六的微弱优势击败丰田5号车,将在周日的正赛从杆位起步。
20分钟的排位赛开始后,1号车首先在布兰登•哈特利的手下占据圈速榜第一,而上午最后一次练习时单圈速度超过预期的丰田5号车紧随其后。然而,正当以为1号车轻松锁定杆位时,新西兰人的成绩因他在最后一弯驶出界限而被取消。
当马克•韦伯换下新西兰人之后,重新为1号车做出1分44.618秒的平均成绩。另一组保时捷2号车在尼尔•贾尼接手后,平均成绩迅速提升到1分44.596秒,攀上第一的位置,然而同样因为违反赛道界限,该成绩也不作数。
最后时刻,圈速榜不断被刷新。哈特利再次接受赛车手,在最后时刻把圈速提升至1分44.462秒,重新登上最高位,有惊无险地最终拿下杆位。
塞巴斯蒂安•布耶米和中岛一贵把丰田5号车的成绩拉升到1分44.522秒,虽然仍以0.06秒之差屈居第二,但足以将奥迪8号车挤出第一排的起步位。
当对手纷纷改进成绩时,唯独积分榜处于领先的2号车组没能在最后时间进步,最后马克•列布与贾尼的平均成绩只名列第六,落后丰田6号车和奥迪7号车。
其他车组方面,Rebellion在排位赛中战胜同样是LMP1汽油组的Bykolles。LMP2方面,前GP3年度冠军阿莱克斯•林恩第二次征战耐力赛,他与队友理查德•布莱德利联手帮助马诺44号车做出最快的平均成绩,力压上午做出同组别最快圈速的Signatech。GTE-Pro组方面,福特展现了统治力,包揽最靠前的发车位,67号比66号稍稍靠前。
